Supported Features

The Okta/GuideSpark SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• IdP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Contact the GuideSpark Support team and request they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

2. Save, then attach the following Metadata file to your request:

   Sign in to the Okta Admin app to have this variable generated for you

3. The GuideSpark Support team will process your request and will provide you with your Organisazion Name value.

4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the SparkGuide SAML app, then click Edit.

   • Enter your Organisazion Name value provided to you by GuideSpark into the corresponding field.

     Note: This parameter is only required for a production instance.

   • Click Save:

   

5. Done!

Notes

• Make sure you select the correct Instance Type under the General tab in Okta. Guidelines for your Instance Type:

  • https://app.guidespark.com: Select Production

  • https://staging.guidespark.net: Select Staging




• The following SAML attributes are supported:

  Name	Value
  mail	user.email
  firstname	user.firstName
  lastname	user.lastName
