Supported Features

The Okta/Appature SAML integration currently supports the following features:

• SP-initiated SSO

Configuration Steps

1. Login to your Appature account.

2. Locate the single sign on the configuration section, then enter the following:

   • Identity Provider Issuer/Entity Id: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

   • Identity Provider HTTP POST URL: Copy and paste the following:

     Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

   • Identity Provider Certificate: Save, then upload the following certificate:

     Sign into the Okta Admin Dashboard to generate this variable.

3. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the Aperture app, then click Edit.

   • Allowed accounts regex: Specify the regex to find the groups that will be used in the allowedAccounts attribute values. For example: APPTR.*.

   • Groups regex: Specify the regex to find the groups that will be used in the Groups attribute values. For example: group.*.

   • Click Save.

   

4. Done!

Notes

The following SAML attributes are supported:

urn:LastName	user.lastName
urn:Email	user.email

SP-initiated SSO

1. Go to the Appature login page.

2. Enter your email, then click Log In.
