How to Configure SAML 2.0 for MediaPlatform

The Okta/MediaPlatform SAML integration currently supports the following features:

Configuration Steps

  1. Contact the MediaPlatform Support team (support@mediaplatform.com) and request that they enable SAML 2.0 for your account.

  2. Include the following Metadata URL with your request:

    Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.

  3. The MediaPlatform Support team will process your request and will provide you with the Company Name value.

  4. In Okta, select the Sign On tab for the MediaPlatform SAML app, then click Edit:

    • Select your instance type. Guidelines for the instance type:

      • https://gate.mediaplatformqa.com/: Select Pre Production

      • https://gate.mediaplatform.com/: select Production

    • Enter your Company Name provided to you by MediaPlatform into the corresponding field.

    • Click Save:

    Okta Sign On - enter instance type and Company Name

  5. Done!
